Regarding the strange properties of Ghosts, which are of course applicable to Pedro Delgado's Ghost, refer please to the section about Voodoo, more specifically about Sorcery. We focus here on information about Pedro Delgado as he still was living, which could be of interest to role-play his ghostly Character. That which concerns his last deeds as a living, is mentioned and discussed when necessary directly in the Scenario Suzon's Rapt for which the Character has been created.
Born in Port of Good Hope on Madladscar, Pedro Delgado made for the greater part from an island of Aunt-Sea to the other a living of various jobs and often faced sudden changes of his situation. However, for several years, before his death, he had been leading his own business on his own Ship, as a trader of slaves and other so-called « large profit » goods. All that not being completely inconsistent with his habit, let's say to summarise with a simple image, of wanting the butter and the money for it as well: that's what he tried to do again in the case of Poerava, referring to his attempt to kidnap her again after having sold her to Yellow Lizard's Island's Governor
And that time's been the one too much!
Though he'd been a successful professional trader - and even a negociator - through his different activities, while also being a high-profile swindler, he tried always to do and get more until it's been too much: thus he died being cursed and having let the Zebra-Headed Medallion, which he had stolen from the Witch of the Swamp, be lost in the waters of Convict'S Creek
while being magically attached to it! Having become a Ghost, he could feel his own Power diminish, without knowing it was a result of the Medallion's influence on him. That's why he is today « physically » very diminished, if one may say so, since any action of a Ghost in « that » world depends on his or her Power!
However, he still remains a difficult opponent as a Non Player Character for he is one who only rarely relied on his bodily skills in his life, having primarily the gift of the gab and using it a long time to be a very effective wreck peddler (!!); he could still be very convincing, even for the meanest tricks. And not only he kept his talking ability, he will fully use it until pushed to his last rhetorical ressources to justify himself to the eyes of the others as well as to his own ones, ready for that to all possible and imaginable omissions and lies
Don't come back and say we didn't warn you!
