There are, for our friends Young Pirates many bad (or good?) reasons - despite the risks - to prowl around the Governor's Mansion. Let's get an overview before entering it to prepare for their visit:

  • According to Poerava, the Governor would have kept in his Office many documents and items dating back to his Pirate's life, such as maps, navigation instruments, log books, etc. It seems important to her to not leave the island without at least a part of that information to have a good start in a Pirate's career…
  • (Note to the Game Master: that idea may - hopefully - have come to our Young Pirates before that, especially to the one designated as Captain!)

  • Either our friends got some information from the Witch of the Swamp (refer to the corresponding section) or they understood of which nature could be the Voodoo Kitchenette of the Suzon, hence they are possibly in search of Voodoo objects and / or formulas… (Prepare for a lot of surprises!)
  • Wishing to keep Elorria close to her, Poerava maybe decided – or asked her Captain – to lead an expedition to the Governor's Mansion to kidnap her and take her with the Crew on the Suzon. Note that, from the standpoint of Navigation and Piracy, Elorria will be of little help to the very young Crew: being somewhat weak physically, she could even be a burden, especially because she'll cry very likely at first, yearning for her father and island! That said and overcome, Elorria might well also have a secret side which could prove highly useful in the future… Who would bet on her!?
  • Many other reasons are thinkable, ad nauseam, which your Players will find better than we can, possibly even than you can, Friend Game Master, so don't panic and send us your findings and best ideas for the fun or possibly for a future « version 1.2 »!
